Fairview Early Childhood Center (ECC)

Fairview Early Childhood Center (ECC)
Through our strategic partnership with Fairview Early Childhood Center (FVECC), Kent County Community School (KCCS) is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students. This collaboration provides meaningful inclusion opportunities across related arts, lunch, and recess, enabling our students to engage with their typical peers in supportive settings. Additionally, students who are ready benefit from academic inclusion experiences within the FVECC classroom, further promoting peer interaction and social-emotional development.
The dedicated staff members at both KCCS and FVECC work collaboratively to ensure that every child, regardless of ability or background, is prepared for a successful transition to elementary school. This inclusive approach reflects our shared commitment to equitable access, belonging, and opportunity. Our mission is clear: Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day.

We have approximately 37 kindergarten and preschool students who come from the Capital School District, as well as, the surrounding school districts in Kent County.
